Creepy trip

A friend and I were talking about Slender Man when we decided we were gonna finally
put our goal of taking a road trip to explore creepy as fuck places into fruition this summer.
He's into taking a lot of photos so this would be a good experience for him. The details haven't been worked out yet but the furthest we'll travel is Nevada for its ghost towns or to the border of Oregon if we find anything.Something about being in southern california sucks the mystery out of everything so we're gonna have to rely on research and some seemingly trustworthy sources in order to find locations. Chances are we won't encounter anything paranormal and won't have the Blair Witch adventure we all secretly crave but we still want to get out there and explore. We'll probably only stop by a couple locations before going home since my mom would never approve of me road tripping in the middle of nowhere
for longer than a few days. In b4 someone brings up Hostel.

So my question is, anyone interested in tagging along?
If anyone lives along the way to some place, we're willing to pick you up.
IT'S COMPLETELY SAFE. Or I hope sooooo.
I want to make the most out of my summer since I'm so confined to my room
and I want to hang with more people if given the chance. But we still
want to keep the group small because I hate large groups and it won't be as creepy.
I'm generally tolerable and the other guy, Alan, is the master of bad puns.
